Meet our Residents and Interns

What our Residents and Interns Mean for Your Pet

At ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital – Palm Beach County, our residents and interns are licensed veterinarians (doctors) receiving advanced, hands-on training in a specialty hospital setting.

While our interns rotate through different departments to gain broad experience, our residents focus on specialty training in a specific department to build the experience needed to pursue board certification.

For pet owners, this means your pet benefits from an added layer of care as interns and residents work closely with our experienced emergency doctors and board-certified specialists, helping support diagnostics, treatments, and patient monitoring.

This team-based approach gives each pet more attention, and more coordinated care – with the guidance of highly trained specialists every step of the way.
