As a child, Dr. Karen Forbes Cingolani imagined she would either become a veterinarian or the illustrator of human medical textbooks.

Luckily for pets, being a veterinarian won the day! (As an avid artist, she still loves to dabble in the arts.)

Well rounded, down-to-earth, and thorough, Dr. Cingolani has a passion for health and healing, and strives to stay up to date on cutting edge medicine.

Add that as a former practice owner and longtime general practitioner, Dr. Cingolani brings to ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital’s department of Urgent Care a unique perspective that enables her to practice medicine in an affable and compassionate way.

Likewise, her experience and know-how assures the “continuity of care” between the veterinarians who are a part of your pet’s healthcare team.

She gets it!

Dr. Cingolani, who attended the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, graduated with honors in 2004. In 2010, she opened South Shore Animal Hospital in Wellington. Built from the ground up, her small animal hospital became a staple for quality pet care in Palm Beach County for more than 13 years.

In her free time, Karen can be found with her husband, two small children, a big fat orange cat, a miniature shcnauzer and a pug puppy. Dr. Cingolani is thrilled to provide Pet Urgent Care to the Palm Beach County area, and to help ACCESS continue to provide the highest level of veterinary care available in South Florida.
