Pet Urgent Care for non-life-threatening situations
When your primary veterinarian is unavailable and your pet has a non-life-threatening medical situation that needs to be seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible, ACCESS Pet Urgent Care is here to help.
Urgent Care pets with life-threatening conditions may be be referred to our 24×7 Emergency Department. This includes pets who may require surgery, advanced diagnostics, or overnight care. (Note: Our Urgent Care service does not provide vaccinations or routine care.)
Examples of Urgent Care vs. Emergency Care
URGENT CARE
- Vomiting – but holding down water
- Diarrhea – still eating/drinking
- Limping
- Mild cough
- Small laceration with little or no bleeding
- Allergic reaction – acting normally
- Skin, ear, eye infections
- Urinary tract infection
EMERGENCY CARE
- Vomiting – not holding down anything +/- blood
- Severe diarrhea – not eating / drinking, +/- blood
- Not walking
- Strong cough / respiratory distress
- Laceration with significant or active bleeding
- Allergic reaction – trouble breathing, vomiting, or collapse
- Pale gums, seizures
- Unable to urinate, blood in urine

Timing, appointments, and/or ‘walk-ins’
Open Seven Days per week: 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm
While ‘same day’ appointments are available for our Pet Urgent Care, ‘walk-ins’ are welcome. For pet owners without an appointment, please be aware that wait times may vary. To find out more, please do not hesitate to contact us.
