Emergency & Critical Care

Dr. Courtney Crane

Courtney Crane, DVM, DACVECC

Dr. Courtney Crane graduated from Ross University in 2010 with High Honors. She then completed a one-year rotating internship at a private practice in Arizona followed by a three-year emergency and critical care residency at Tufts University.

Dr. Crane grew up in Fort Lauderdale and, after moving around extensively after college, has found her way back to South Florida!

She is passionate about being a criticalist and enjoys the collaborative and supportive work environment specialty animal hospitals are known for. Dr. Crane has a special interest in small animal sepsis, immune-mediated hematologic diseases, pit viper envenomation, and fluid therapy cases, and without a doubt is an asset to any veterinary organization.

It makes sense why she dreamt of being a tiger trainer as a child with her adventurous nature and love for animals! In her free time, Dr. Crane enjoys traveling, paddle boarding, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with family, friends, her two dogs, Cowboy & Cody, and her two cats Captain and Phoenix.
