If you work in the veterinary industry – doctor, technician, administration, support –we are pleased to invite you to a free ‘wellness’ workshop provided by ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital – Palm Beach County.


Part 1: Strategies to help with feeling overwhelmed during uncertain times.

During uncertain times, the brain wants to ‘know what’s next?’ It’s natural to feel stress and anxiety and gravitate towards negative thoughts. In Part 1 of this workshop we will introduce practical tools you can implement right away to help ease feelings of being overwhelmed.

  • Are you stressed and overwhelmed? Learn to recognize and address chronic exposure to stress and being overwhelmed
  • Learn how to create healthy coping strategies to navigate stress and reduce anxiety
  • How setting intentions can help re-focus
  • Reframe: asking yourself a different question
  • Being curious vs. being attached
  • Boundaries and radical self-care

Part 2: Build your well-being and effective ways to recharge through this ‘new normal’.

In Part 1, we addressed tools to help ease feelings of being overwhelmed. In Part 2, we introduce four areas to help you thrive from the inside out, strengthen your mental well-being, and expand your capacity.

  • Strengthening your mental well-being and emotional intelligence
  • Building your mental well-being to better manage stress
  • Creating a culture of engagement with your team (Whether you are a doctor, technician, supervisor, client service representative, or in admin.)
  • Cultivating a plan for recharge and renewal

About our Speakers

Claire Chew. M.A.  is a veterinary medical consultant/life transition coach, and in-house life balance coach for Access Specialty Animal Hospitals, she coaches staff members on healthy coping mechanisms to maintain health and life balance.

Claire earned a Masters Degree in Spiritual Psychology, certification in Grief Recovery, Grief Bereavement Facilitation, and Animal Reiki, certified Pet Loss Counselor, is a member of the Association of Pet Loss and Bereavement, International Association of Animal Hospice and Palliative Care. Claire’s work has been featured in InStyle, Marie Claire, Martha Stewart Living, and more.

Margalit Ward, CEC, is a Certified Executive Coach, Training Facilitator and Curriculum Designer for Thrive Global and The EduCare Foundation, and the Co-Founder of Professional Women’s Network LA.

She completed her coaching certification from ICF Certified Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching and is a graduate of the Counseling Psychology Masters Program, and completed her Consciousness, Health & Healing Certification from the University of Santa Monica.

With over 15 years of experience, she has served hundreds of clients in many industries, including tech, health care, retail, manufacturing, financial, non-profits, and education, she brings a rich toolbox to support individuals and organizations with stress management, clarifying an ideal vision for success, and maintaining healthy habits for a fulfilling and balanced work/life.
