Dr. Stacy Zheng

Stacy Zheng, DVM (Surgical Intern)

Dr. Zheng is from North Carolina and earned her bachelor’s degree in biology at UNC Chapel Hill.

A serendipitous moment led her to become a first-time cat owner just before graduation, igniting her desire to become a veterinarian.

She pursued her dream and graduated from NC State College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2021, where her passion for surgery took root. Following this, she completed a rotating internship at Cornell University before joining our team at ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital – Palm Beach County.
Dr. Zheng further honed her skills through a surgical internship at Animal Surgical Center of Michigan.

She finds fulfillment in both orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries, with a burgeoning interest in fracture repair and angular limb deformity correction.

During her time off, Dr. Zheng enjoys cooking and cherishing moments with her rambunctious cat, Mowgli. She also shares her life with an anxious German Shepherd/Husky mix, who currently resides with her partner, Joe, also a veterinarian, in Raleigh, North Carolina.
