Alison C. Bidjarano, DVM (Surgery)

Dr. Alison C. Bidjarano earned her undergraduate degree in Biology with a concentration in Neuroscience from Washington University in St. Louis, completing additional minors in Finance and Psychology. She then pursued her veterinary medical education at Cornell University. During her time at Cornell, she adopted her Great Pyrenees, Jasper. Jasper explored the gorges and hiking trails with her in upstate New York.

Following graduation, Dr. Bidjarano moved to New Jersey and completed Rotating and Surgery Internships at Garden State Veterinary Specialists. She then moved to Texas to continue her clinical training with a Surgery Internship at BluePearl Spring. Her road then took her to South Florida for a Surgery Internship at ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital. Her academic research covers a diverse range of clinical topics, spanning from aquaculture sedation to TPLO surgical site infections!

Outside of the hospital, Alison and her husband Alexander share a love for hiking. They have set a goal to visit every national park in the country and have successfully explored seventeen of them so far. In her free time, she also enjoys discovering new restaurants, skiing, and reading fantasy novels.
